Biking the Pamir Highway in summer 2025 (Tajikistan)

Hi there, I’m looking for 1 or 2 travel companions for the Pamir Highway in summer 2025 (dates to be confirmed). I’m 65 and have quite a bit of bike-travel experience. The route is flexible depending on preferences (Wakhan Corridor, Bartang Valley, etc.). Feel free to get in touch! !

Hi Jerome and Patricia, Thanks for your messages. My cycling project on the Pamir Highway is currently on hold for various reasons, and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make it happen this summer. That said, it’s still a strong wish of mine, and I haven’t lost sight of it. Hopefully see you soon, Thierry

I’ll be there this summer too, but in a van (UAZ 452 expedition, orange—you can’t miss me). If you need advice or run into trouble on the road, I can help.

I’ll be there for 3 months, from late June to late September. If you’re traveling from Bishkek to Osh around June 11th (date’s flexible), I can also haul your bikes to a starting point.
