I’m planning part of my route: Udawalawe, then Rakwana and Nuwara Eliya.
I can’t find a bus connection from Rakwana,

Head up to the main road in Pelmadulla towards Balangoda, go as far as Bandarawella, and then change buses for Nuwara Eliya.
From Udawalawe, the easiest way is to reach Tanamalwila junction and take a bus heading north to Welalawaya, then on to Bandarawella
