Flooding in Costa Rica

Hi, My partner and I are arriving in Costa Rica the day after tomorrow, and it seems the country is flooded in several places. We haven’t planned anything except a few days in San Jose... Are these flood stories real, and is it affecting your travels for those who are currently there? Thanks

Hello, There have indeed been several floods in Costa Rica, but that was about a week ago. The situation has likely changed since then. Most of the information I found dates back to November 20-21. Tropical Storm Sara caused a lot of damage, and there were even some casualties... However, based on my research, the worst seems to be behind us. Happy travels!
