Car insurance validity in the Faroe Islands

Hi,

I read on another forum that there might be an issue with insurance for our vehicles in the Faroe Islands.

Apparently, we wouldn’t be covered once we disembark from the ferry. From what I understand, the DK on our green card no longer applies to the Faroe Islands.

Could anyone confirm this?

I didn’t have any issues with my vehicle there.

(Greenland isn’t covered, though.)

That’s exactly what I thought

I should mention that having a car in Greenland is absolutely useless.
