Budapest: airport to city center route and which museums/exhibitions to see?

Hi there, I’m heading to Budapest next February and I’d like to know what the safest way is to get from the airport to the city center. During my weekend, which museums or exhibitions can you recommend? Thanks!

You can get to central Budapest from the airport by taxi (Bolt, Uber, etc.) or by bus: the 100E bus is the most reliable, running every 10 minutes for around 5 euros (!). There are also shuttles called miniBud, but they serve multiple destinations depending on the number of passengers, which can take longer (list of options in this article).
