Duo seats 45 in the Air France A50 900

Hi there, I booked these upper deck seats and I’m worried about the recline because of the wall behind.

But it’s either that or an unknown neighbor...

Has anyone taken these seats before and could give me some feedback? Thanks

You hit the jackpot: - right by the bulkhead - reclined seat from the passenger in front - lavatories - galley - flushing noise and "cent-meal fragrance" 😉 - the line of passengers after the meal

Hi! I’m wondering if you’re really familiar with these seats? The toilets are way back... so I’m still doubtful we’d smell anything or even hear the flush.

And on the same site you sent me the photo from, there’s a specific comment about these seats—I’ll post it here, hoping you speak English to understand it, otherwise, well, translators exist!

45C does fully recline. Toilets are far enough away. There's even space behind the seat where things can be stowed (though not during departure and landing). One of the best seats in economy because it's only two seats in that row. 45A is even better if you don't like to get up and walk around a lot (I do). Same applies for 45J and 45L respectively.

On top of that, I didn’t win anything—I even had to pay to get them... And as you could see on the SeatGuru site, there are already two conflicting reviews. That’s why I wanted to hear from someone who’s actually had them instead of just copying and pasting from a site that has everything and anything. Thanks anyway

SeatGuru hasn’t been updated for quite a few years, since before 2019. My son booked and paid for these same seats on a KLM flight from Seoul to Amsterdam in November and was really disappointed because there’s no recline due to the bulkhead. It looks like the same setup on AF.

Oh no Was that on a 350 too? Did it manage to change position once on the plane?

Because I’ve already flown on a 789 where there was also a bulkhead behind and the seat reclined.

I think it was a B777, but no, they couldn’t switch seats—the flight was full. They were really disappointed to have paid for seats that were worse than the standard ones.

Yeah... If I choose these seats, it's so I don’t have a stranger next to me. The middle seat isn’t exactly comfortable either. And on a night flight—like the one from Seoul—if the seat doesn’t recline, it’s really annoying too...

I can still change, but I’ll lose the price I paid for the duo seats. So I really don’t know what to do
