Tana to Tamatave by minibus

Can you tell me how long (on average...) the Tana to Tamatave trip takes with local minibus transport? Which reliable company do you recommend for booking?

Hi, 10-hour trip—sometimes even longer if a truck blocks the road and holds up everyone for hours. The carriers that used to have good reputations aren’t what they once were. My last trip with Cotisse was terrible (the seat cushion kept coming loose with every sudden brake). But this carrier does have the advantage of a private, secure bus station.

I took Cotisse for the Moramanga > Tana route—no complaints about the price or the minibus, which was brand new (made in 2023).
