Rice Festival in Thailand

Hi, right now, 28 km from Yasothon, there's a grand festival after the rice harvest. Puffed rice grains are strung on threads, forming curtain-like structures about 10 meters high—it's really impressive! So beautiful and unique. The crowd is huge, and there's not a single foreigner except for us. A must-see. Absolutely.

In Yasothon, there’s also the Rocket Festival (in May or June, depending on the year), which you shouldn’t miss: three days of parades and spectacular rocket launches. This festival also takes place in other cities in Isan, but the one in Yasothon is the most famous.
