Which countries offer good dental care?

Without limiting ourselves to the countries mentioned above—Turkey and others could be added to the list.

I need to get dental reconstruction done, likely involving 6 implants. Which country offers the best quality of care, materials, and techniques?

Thailand is indeed a good choice. You’ll need to pick a large clinic in Bangkok because in the provinces, hygiene standards can be iffy. But it’ll take time, a lot of time

But first there’s the drilling and extraction, then a long healing period, followed by the titanium implant placement and weeks of waiting to see if it takes. Sometimes a graft is even needed if there isn’t enough gum in certain spots, and finally, the crowns are placed. It takes a few months.

There are cheaper countries, but when you see the state of some people when they return... 🏴‍☠️

Hi there, Cuba has some of the most high-performing medical schools, and Cuban doctors and dentists are recognized worldwide. Unfortunately, they're very poorly paid and have no access to medications. While waiting for better days, they take on other, more lucrative jobs.

I don’t know if your question is still relevant. I’m going to a dentist in Mexico for about 40% of what it would cost me back home in Quebec. I know there are excellent dentists in Thailand—I actually had an appointment in Pattaya in May 2020 that I never got to go to for reasons you can imagine—but since flight prices to Asia never went back to what they were, I turned to Mexico instead. I think Turkey is also worth considering, but I haven’t looked into it yet. For me, Mexico is easy since I speak Spanish without any issues.
