Flores: private driver or shared taxis

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are staying in Flores at the end of March/beginning of April—can anyone give me an idea of the daily rate for a car with a driver? As for shared taxis, are they easy to find for trips beyond a few kilometers?

If you have any contacts for friendly drivers, I’d love to hear them...

I didn’t have any trouble finding seats in a shared taxi the day before for the next day. (Intercity routes.)

It’s been a while, but I don’t think things have changed since then.
