About email notifications

Hi, Without changing anything in "my settings," I no longer receive email notifications when a PM arrives or when one of my public posts gets a reply. (I don’t have any followed threads)

Is this a temporary glitch or has the feature been removed?

That’s weird, I’m getting all the notifications just fine. 😐

Maybe your email provider has different inboxes based on the type of message and moved the VoyageForum ones to a secondary tab?

In my inbox, besides spam, there’s a "Promotions" and "Updates" tab. Sometimes notifications end up there instead of the main inbox.

It’s just that we’re having issues with internet service providers blocking our emails because we’re still struggling to send 100% of the newsletter since switching hosting providers.

We’ve gone from 40% to 60%, and we’re hoping to reach 100% in the coming weeks.

We’re doing our best to resolve these problems.

Thanks for the explanation... Orange can be fussy sometimes. 🙂

@Attila No, none of that... Orange doesn’t take that kind of initiative. Except for spam, it’s the user who sets up the sorting subfolders.

The answer is in Hervé-from-travel-forum's reply... Some providers block emails sent from VF. An improvement is expected soon.

You can add a few more points to the expected percentage because as of today, on Orange mail... it's working again! 🙂

Things were better for a while. Now they’re worse again. Orange isn’t delivering VF notifications about PMs or replies to my posts anymore. 😕

SFR still sends them to me. 😮
