Transport from Guiyang to Zhenyuan - China

Hi there, I’m scheduled to land in Guiyang on April 6th at 3:00 PM. Since I don’t have much time there, I’d like to head straight to Zhenyuan. Unfortunately, the last train leaves at 2:06 PM. Do you know if taxis go all the way to Zhenyuan? Otherwise, there are buses, but I think I’d have to transfer in Kaili? Thanks

Hi, The best option is to spend a night in Guiyang and take the train the next day at your leisure. If you have time, stay for 2 nights and visit Guiyang’s old town. I looked into taking the bus, but it’s way too long—about 7 hours to cover 150 km with a transfer. For a taxi, check prices at the airport using the Didi app to get a good deal. We’ll be there in early April too.
