Booking tickets for the Forbidden City in Beijing

Hi there, We’re planning to visit the Forbidden City during our trip in early May 2025 (after the May 1st holidays). We tried booking tickets through this site: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/beijing/forbidden.htm But we’re having issues with our credit card payment, even though we didn’t have any problems booking train tickets during our last trip to China in October and November 2024. Has anyone else run into this kind of issue? Which booking site would you recommend? Thanks for your tips! Alod

I didn’t have any issues booking—I did it on this site. I also booked several activities the same way, like a cooking class.
