Dress code for CroisiEurope Gala evening

Hello, For a CroisiEurope cruise on the Rhine, specifically the "Four Rivers" cruise in June, is there a gala evening with a particular dress code? Also, what about for meals and daytime wear? Thanks so much!

Hello,

Our last cruise with Croisieurope was back in 2021. For the gala evening (there’s just one), smart casual attire is recommended, and during the day, casual wear depending on the excursions you’ll be doing. I don’t recall any themed dress-code evenings like on MSC or Costa (white night, 60s night, etc.). Have a great cruise! Mum49

Hi there, I’ve been on several CroisiEurope cruises (river and sea) and we’ve never had a dress code. Even when there was a gala evening, it wasn’t particularly formal. Best regards

Thanks so much for your reply—we won’t have to bring evening wear, which is a huge relief for us!

The gala evening is a bit more dressed up than the other evenings (I’d say black jeans instead of blue jeans), a shirt for men, but nothing extravagant!

You don’t need to stress too much—Croisi is very casual 😉

Thanks so much, that reassures me—I didn’t see myself packing an entire wardrobe, especially a suit for my husband. Have a great day

No, no, not a suit... A shirt and classic trousers or black jeans are more than enough. For women, a pretty blouse, nice trousers, or a cute little dress will do the trick. Honestly, I’d say dress like you’re going to a nice family restaurant or a Christmas dinner—nothing over the top! After all, I’ve always seen at least one or two couples in suits (just for fun), but it’s not the norm. Just make sure to check if there’s a specific theme for your cruise, though? (Michelin-starred chef, or something?)
