Looking for a travel companion this autumn for China

Hi there, I’m planning to go to China this autumn and I’d love to find travel partners who’ve already been to the country at least once—people who already know how things work in China. Even though I’ve traveled a lot, I don’t feel ready to go on an adventure for my first trip to China without some company. If you’re interested, feel free to get in touch.

Hi Loane, I already spent a month in southern China solo with my backpack, from Kunming to Hong Kong in November 2019. It’s the tropical zone, but in the mountains it wasn’t very warm at night. I loved it—stunning terraced rice fields, magnificent cities, and unforgettable landscapes.

I’ve got a plan to explore the north in May 2026 for a month. Beijing, Pingyao, Xi'an, Shanghai, and everything worth seeing around those cities. Maybe one or two sacred mountains. Avoid traveling between May 1st and 4th. The weather’s great then, and the tourist crowds are manageable too.
