Are highways toll roads for motorcycles in Poland?

Hi, I’d like to know if highways in Poland are toll roads for motorcycles, especially the A4 between WROCLAW and CRACOW.

If so, do you need to buy a vignette? Pay online? Are there toll booths at the entrances/exits? Thanks

The A4 is toll between Katowice (Myslovice 50.19685200740729, 19.18650565343281) and Kraków (Balice 50.08323321108876, 19.791655417481067). 8 PLN for a motorcycle. By app, card, or cash.

If the A4 is free for motorcycles and light vehicles from the German border to Katowice, do you still need to register on the e-toll website? Or can you take the A4 without any prior formalities? The site isn’t very clear about this. How did you handle it?

My experience is with cars and in the opposite direction. You don’t have to register, and you only pay for the toll section if you need to. E-toll is for vehicles over 3.5 tons.

Hi, From what I understand, E-toll is only for heavy vehicles. As for me, I didn’t do any formalities beforehand. For the toll section (KATOWICE - CRACOW), I paid 8 Zł at the counter, cash or card (there’s an attendant at each booth).
