What are some good hikes near Fréjus?

hello, west of Fréjus there’s the Massif des Maures—with a bit of luck you might spot a kind of tortoise that’s endemic to the area. For hikes, either an IGN map or a topo guide. Otherwise, if you can go a little further, there’s the Haut-Var and the start of the Verdon region.

We really enjoyed the hike up to Mont Vinaigre with the return via the Route des Cols. It’s in the Esterel Massif.
