Flying with injectable medical treatment

I’m traveling to Portugal with my family and I have a treatment that requires injections. How can I take a flight with these? They look like injectable pens. Thanks

There’s no problem at all. Just bring your prescription, but it’s pretty standard—chances are no one will even ask for it.

hi, check if the treatment needs to be refrigerated and therefore kept in a fridge. While traveling, so bring a cooler bag with ice packs if needed. But I’m not sure how effective that is.

There’s no problem traveling with injectable pens. As a diabetic, before I was on a pump, I always had all my injection pens, needles, etc. with me in my carry-on, plus a prescription just in case—but I was never asked about any of it! I think it’s pretty common.

Same as @annachris this summer. And yet, it was a flight to the USA. Same thing, no problem on the return flight.

hi there no problem, just make sure to take your prescription with you in case. I travel regularly, especially between France and Morocco, and sometimes I fly with 3 months' worth of treatment.
