SIM card in India

Hi everyone! So, I’m heading to India in October for a few months, and I’d love to get some recent info on SIM cards (Airtel or others). Is it easy to find one (at the airport?), and is the process straightforward—or is it still as complicated as ever with addresses in India, guarantors, OTPs, etc.? Also, are there any plans with international calling to avoid roaming with French SIMs? Basically, anything that might be useful—I’ll be transiting through Delhi and arriving in Chennai. The easiest way is to ask your hotel. You’ll pay just a tiny bit more for the card (in January 2024, 5 € for a month!), but they’ll handle the installation for you with nothing more than your passport required.
