Ferry from Bellingham/Vancouver to Whittier

Has anyone taken a ferry or water shuttle from Bellingham or Vancouver to Whittier?

It's the Cross Gulf (Juneau - Whittier) but there isn't one this year. Slim chance for next year, in my opinion. The Alaska Marine Highway ferry goes from Bellingham to Skagway. The British Columbia ferries go from Vancouver to Vancouver Island and from the north of the island to Prince Rupert. But the Alaska Marine Highway no longer stops in Prince Rupert, so there's no connection.

Thanks for the info. Planning for June 26, we’ll see how it goes. We’re also missing a ferry from Kegaska to Vieux-Fort (Quebec)
