Finding baby diapers in China

Hi there, we’re heading to China for 3 weeks in a few days, and our youngest daughter is 2 years old. I can’t seem to find any info on a crucial question: is it easy to find baby diapers in China? I’ve read articles about split pants and all, but Chinese society is evolving fast. And I’m not quite ready to try that eco-friendly tradition—it’s a bit too out there for me! When I say "easy," I mean like in neighborhood 7/11s, without having to trek to out-of-the-way hypermarkets. Our itinerary includes Hong Kong, Sichuan, and Shanghai. It’s clear you have a somewhat outdated image of China. You’re going to be surprised by how modern the cities are—I’d even say some are more advanced than here in France. Shopping malls are right in the city centers, not on the outskirts, and there are *tons* of them. In supermarkets, you’ll find baby sections just like in France, with different types of diapers. There are also specialty stores with everything for babies, including diapers. We were there last March/April and started our trip in Chongqing.
