One-month itinerary for northeastern Brazil

Hi everyone, We’re a group of 3 friends traveling from Salvador de Bahia to Belém in November for a month. To plan our route, I’d love some tips on the must-see spots. We’ll be traveling by bus and are mostly looking for nature, as well as pretty towns and villages. Your advice will help us avoid missing too many great places. Thanks in advance to all of you! Hi Thierry, I’d be happy to answer about "my region" 😉 From Salvador, you can visit the islands of Baía de Todos os Santos, the Recôncavo Baiano region (Bahia’s colonial heartland), and especially Chapada Diamantina National Park (also known as Brazil’s Grand Canyon). Heading north toward the next state (Aracaju), you could stop at fishing villages like Abrantes, Praia do Forte, Imbassai, Sauípe, and Baixinho. Tropical greetings from Salvador, @IvanBahiaGuide

Hi Thierry, Around Salvador de Bahia, you’ve got the Tinharé archipelago with Morro de São Paulo and Boipeba. Heading up toward Belém, the route is long, but you’ll pass Mangue Seco and the "route of emotions" with Jericoacoara, the Paraíba delta, and the Lençóis Maranhenses (amazing!).
