Looking for driver + car for 4 people for trip to Kerala

Hello, We’re a group of 4 looking for a driver and car for our stay in Kerala from November 22 to December 12, 2025. We’ve already planned an itinerary starting from Cochin. We’ve traveled with a driver before during our trip to Rajasthan. Thanks for your replies! Yves

The rate for 8 days was 49,000 INR + a 6,000 INR tip. There were 4 of us, the car was super comfortable, the driver was professional, punctual, very cautious, and not too talkative since he’s quite shy. I can also recommend our driver Ajish and our Toyota Innova from Southcanal Holidays in Alleppey. I say "our" because Southcanal Holidays is a guesthouse, located near the Alleppey lighthouse, which I own and which also belongs to Shameer—whom I’ve known for... 30 years—and who manages the guesthouse, taxis, and a small shop with his team. The guesthouse opened in 2010, and we’ve been organizing driver-led tours in southern India for about fifteen years.

Hello Paule, We thank you for your information and have confirmed our booking with Joseph, the driver. We chose a TOYOTA INNOVA. A deposit of 100 € was sent to him, and the rest is to be paid on the spot. The price is reasonable for 15 days. He’ll pick us up at COCHIN Airport to VARKALA, and from there, we’ll take the train to catch our return flight. Do you have any recommendations for accommodation in CALICUT? Thanks! Hi Ghislaine. I haven’t been to Calicut, strangely enough… and yet I’ve traveled all over Kerala. Share your itinerary with me and I’ll tell you my favorite spots. In any case, I really loved Cochin, where I have an excellent address, and Varkala, which is very touristy but a nice change from traditional India. Don’t hesitate to message me privately. Hello Paule, We’re getting ready to visit South India from 12/12 to 13/01 with a car and driver... which we still don’t have. Your Joseph isn’t available, so we’re looking for someone else. I’m sending you our suggested itinerary—what do you think? Any changes you’d recommend? What’s your take on boarding a houseboat in Alleppey? Wouldn’t Kumarakom be better, since it’s less touristy?
