Getting from Nafplio to Epidaurus and Mycenae

Hi there,

We’re heading to Greece this summer and will be stopping in Nafplio for 3 days. We’d love to visit Epidaurus and Mycenae, but we don’t have a way to get around. We checked the KTEL Argolida website, but couldn’t figure out the right stops or schedules. Is it possible to do a round trip from Nafplio to Epidaurus in one day, as well as Nafplio to Mycenae? If not, are there any cheap alternative options?

It’s pretty complicated. There’s only one round-trip per day, and you don’t have much time to visit the site. Don’t you want to—or can’t you—rent a car?

Unfortunately, apart from the bus or a taxi, there aren’t really any other options.

Thanks for your reply and for being available! We were convinced, seeing the short distances between these sites and Nafplio, that there were still some easy transport options.

Yeah, me too! I still find it kinda weird. But it's true that most tourists either rent cars or do these sites on organized group tours from a hotel.
