Mumbai - Nashik - Gokarna in October 2025

Hello everyone,

I’ve booked a round-trip flight to Mumbai from October 4th to 24th, 2025. I haven’t finalized my itinerary yet, but my plan is to spend 2 nights in Mumbai (hotel booked in Colaba), a few nights in Nashik, and then head down to Gokarna. I’m a young-at-heart sixty-something who stays very active and loves traveling. This will be my third trip to "southern" India, so I know what to expect in terms of cultural differences. Plus, my native language is English, so I have no trouble understanding or being understood, no matter the accent over there. I’d be happy to meet up and share some moments with you—young or not-so-young—if you’re up for it.

Hi Charlie, I see that, like me, you're in Belgium—whereabouts are you from? I’m from Koksijde on the Belgian coast. I’ve been to India several times; my last trip was a few years ago already. I had a trip planned for December last year, but it was canceled when we were at the check-in counter—there was a storm in Istanbul, where we were supposed to stop over. The flight was delayed by 4 days, so we had to cancel because my partner is a teacher, and it just wasn’t worth it for only 10 days of travel 😕
