Looking for Lonely Planet Philippines 2018 PDF

Hi there. I’m planning my next trip to the Philippines. I bought the 2024 edition of the Lonely Planet guide, and what a disappointment! No practical info at all—it’s useless. Someone lent me the 2018 edition, and it’s got everything I love. The problem is, I don’t want to carry two heavy guides. I tried to buy the 2018 digital version, but it no longer exists—they only offer the 2024 version, which I already have in print!

I totally agree with you. I bought the latest edition of the Lonely Planet for Malaysia, which I was fortunately able to return… The new editions are completely devoid of any practical information, and the sections are disorganized. So, I bought the *Routard* instead, which I had stopped using because it was quite incomplete and the updates were insufficient.

Yes, unfortunately, and a lot of us feel the same way. It used to be my bible, but those days are sadly over 😢
