Traveling to Asia without flying – looking for travel companions!

I’m Nicolas, I’m 27, and I’m planning to head to Asia without taking any flights starting from early 2026 (mostly by train, then buses or ferries for some parts). My trip will last several months (between 8 to 10 months). I’m not necessarily looking for someone to join me for the entire journey, but rather someone who can travel with me for part of the way.
Honestly, this is the part that makes me the most nervous. The current global geopolitical situation makes this trip a bit more complicated, especially when it comes to choosing between going through Russia (faster but maybe less psychologically comfortable) or Turkey → Uzbekistan (more logistically challenging), with the goal of reaching China in either case.
