Motorcycle trip in the Middle Atlas (Morocco)

Hey there, fellow riders, I’m really keen on a motorcycle trip to Morocco, specifically the Middle Atlas. Does anyone have any info or tips on this idea? Planning to go in September or October... Looking forward to hearing from you! Christine

Hi Ckris, A great idea for this trip! September or October is perfect—only bad weather could make the road unpleasant, but that’s pretty rare. The best route is to arrive in Tangier and head straight south toward Meknes or Fez, two beautiful cities you can visit. Then, in the Middle Atlas, check out Azrou and the cedar forest. If you're into off-roading near Midelt, you can visit the old lead mines of Aouli. Further south, the Ouzoud waterfalls are a must. For a first road trip in Morocco, the Middle Atlas is a great choice, but for even better adventures, the High Atlas is really worth exploring. Have an amazing Moroccan trip!
