Arctic activities in Finland: choosing agencies

Hi everyone, we’re heading to Rovaniemi from December 6th to 10th with our 6-year-old and would love to do one reindeer ride and one husky safari. There are so many agencies that it’s hard to choose! Since we’ll have our own car, we’d prefer tours without big crowds—something authentic if possible. Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

In Lapland, prices are relatively similar across agencies. Price differences usually come from additional services.

An important tip when choosing your time slot: check the hours carefully because in winter, it’s only daylight from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Outside of those hours, it’s dark (like a full-moon evening), which isn’t great for photos.
