Namibia visa – 60 days or 90 days?

Gwendolyn · 2025-09-03

Hi there, Since April 2025, Namibia has been requiring a visa for many nationalities. I have a French passport and I’d like to know if the paid visa granted is for 60 or 90 days? I can’t seem to get a clear answer. Thanks! Bourlingueurs.com from Eswatini (Swaziland)

Hello,

It's 90 days for tourism, and you can either request it in advance or get it at the main border posts. (Some folks are really making the most of it, huh! 😉)

Namibia visa for 60 or 90 days

Thank you so much! I’ll be able to fully enjoy this destination and get the visa at the land border crossing I’ll be using. I’ll be there in 2 or 3 days, just enough time to drive from the Mozambique border... Yeah, I agree with you—this is the good life!!! Have a great day!

Check out the blog: msiafricaroadtrip.com The visa is granted for 3 months, which is 90 days. Take a look at the blog—it has all the steps you can follow.

Have a great trip!

When are you heading to Namibia, and which border are you crossing?
