Ryanair’s gonna have to start flying Airbus A380s even for London-Barcelona just to carry all that extra luggage, lol! 🙂

even when being more relaxed about luggage, some will still try to cheat (that’s very French) 😄

Hi, well, at least they try to cheat like we saw in that video from Nice where it ended in a fight. There must be loads of people who try and end up paying more at the airport than if they’d bought online.

Just keep in mind that the more baggage you bring, the more payload the plane has to carry, which means more fuel consumption. That costs the airline more. That’s why Ryanair or EasyJet (I can’t remember which) asked some passengers to disembark at Florence Airport while the plane was parked.

Planes are never weighed before takeoff. If airlines let passengers cheat on suitcase weight, the plane would never be able to take off (and worse, flight safety would be at risk). Fed up with these 50 € nickel-and-dimers!!!

Do you even pay attention to what you write? Have you never noticed the digital display by the conveyor belts at boarding that shows the weight of the luggage? Then there’s no cheating since the bags go through a scanner. Plus, the pilot obviously knows how much fuel they’re carrying and the total weight of the luggage. They have to calculate it down to the gallon to make it profitable
