New York City Pass

Boris44600 · 2025-09-05

Hi there.

I’m traveling solo to NYC for 10 days. Is the pass for multiple activities worth it? I don’t want to plan everything in advance and really want to take my time while avoiding crowds!

Thanks for your replies.

Boris.

The issue with the pass is that some activities can't be booked in advance (I'm thinking of the 9/11 Museum, but there are others), and you can only grab the remaining slots on the day on a "first come, first served" basis—but only if there are any left!

So, subtract from the pass the activities that can't be booked ahead and that you'll need to get separately, risking not getting a spot. And check if the rest fits your needs.

I get that you don’t want to plan everything in advance. But some visits/activities are very likely to be fully booked if you don’t reserve ahead. It’s up to you whether you want to take that risk or not.

Oh wow!!! That’s wishful thinking! 😎

Thanks for the reply! I was planning to book 2/3 days—maybe check the day before for some activities! !

Do some simulations for dates around the same time period and check what's left 2 or 3 days before—it might give you an idea.
