Looking for advice on GR53 route from Wissembourg to Rotterdam

Hi there. I’ve hiked the GR trail mentioned in the title from Wissembourg all the way to Menton. Now I’ve got the section from Wissembourg to Rotterdam left. But I can’t find any maps for this route—I’m looking for someone who’s done this part of the trail. Thanks in advance! 😊

Hi Claude, While reading your message, I think you might be confusing the GR53 with the GR5. It’s the GR5 that runs from Rotterdam to the Mediterranean. I’ve hiked the GR5 from the Luxembourg border (the border town is Dudelange) to its junction with the GR53 near the summit of the Donon. You can visualize this route on Geoportail or find a GPX track on the FFR website (it should be downloadable ).

I just saw that the section from Luxembourg to Metz has been updated: the GR now enters France near Schengen, and Geoportail reflects this change.

On the other hand, I have no idea about the route between Rotterdam and the Luxembourg-France border, and I’m not sure where to look for that info (maybe a European trail E2???).
