Trip to Nepal - Looking for companion for Kala Patthar trek - November 2025

Hi there! I’m heading to Nepal on November 3rd and plan to do a trek to Kala Patthar starting on the 7th (about twelve days). I’m a 68-year-old man in good physical shape and I’m looking for someone or an already-formed group up for the adventure. I’ll be accompanied by a porter and possibly a guide, but I think just the porter is necessary. Last year, I did the Mardi Himal trek in the Annapurna range. This one is 2 to 3 times longer. Hi Phiroy, It's a great time to do the trek in Nepal to Everest Base Camp with a side trip to Kala Patthar. Could you clarify if your itinerary includes Gokyo Lakes and the Cho La Pass, or if you're going and returning via the same route from Namche? Best, Aventure

Normally, I’d return the same way without EBC, but it depends on how much time it takes. I’ve got a 4- or 5-day buffer to leave KTM on the 28th (starting the trek on the 7th).

I also really love walking, but since I weigh over 100 kilos, it’s sometimes tough for me. Nepal is a gorgeous country, I wish you a wonderful trip and lots of amazing discoveries!
