TDAC Problem

Tfcboy31 · 2025-10-05

hi, and help! I need to complete my TDAC, but the site is stuck on page 2 under Accommodation Information: I can't fill in the "province" field—it's mandatory! I enter Bangkok, but when I scroll down to add the address... everything disappears.

What should I do? Thanks for your help! Elisabeth

Normally I'm not too early, I arrive on Wednesday, October 8th at 9:30 AM in Bangkok.

Hi,

Try again later today 😉

Hi,

I did a test, and it works for me at home. I entered the province where I’ll be staying the first night (Chiang Mai) and the name of the accommodation in Pai. I was able to get to the payment page, which I didn’t complete since I’m only leaving on 11/15.

However, in the "Accommodation Information" section, I think we only enter the first night, right? Because during my trip, I’ll be staying in 4 different places around Chiang Mai, then 2 spots around Krabi in the south, and I’ll finish with Kanchanaburi and then Bangkok.

Thanks, Fred

hi again,

phew, I finally did it—had to wait a few more hours though! :) thanks

but here’s an important heads-up: the TDAC is FREE.

I think you might’ve gone to a fake version of the official site.

Yes, it's free—you just need to go to the Thai government website.

Hi,

Phew, I made it—had to wait a few more hours though :) Thanks

It’s not 3 days before, but 72 hours—there’s a difference, and your hour-by-hour experience proves it.

Hi, Okay, not before 72 hours. But what’s the margin? If I’m not available at the exact time or there’s a computer glitch (it happens, right?), and I fill out the form, say, 60 hours before? Does that work?

Hi Premaria, It’s not EXACTLY 72 hours before—it’s WITHIN the 72 hours prior to arrival, so in your scenario at 60 hours before (J-60h) it’d be fine, just like it would be at 3 hours before (J-3h) too.

Thanks Songsam for your reply. So after that I receive a PDF in my email to present at immigration, is that right? How long does it take to get a response?

You’ll get a confirmation email within seconds or minutes (it’ll have your TDAC number) that you can print.

Hi, Personally, I just showed my phone and presented it to the agent—it’s simpler that way.

Okay, that doesn't seem difficult. Thanks for your reply.

Definitely, especially if you're on the go and there's no printer in sight.

Hi, I just arrived in BKK and no one—neither KLM nor anyone at BKK—asked for it... but it's still better to do it anyway.

Hi, It depends on the airlines. When I left France, they didn’t ask me for anything, but when I left Danang for BKK, they asked for it at check-in and upon arrival. I showed it to the immigration officer, they scanned it, and I went straight through without fingerprinting or a photo. However, my friend, who also had one, had their fingerprints taken and a photo. It’s still pretty random. 🙁
