Travel companions for Laos and Cambodia in late November

Celine859 · 2025-10-13

Hi there, I’m heading off for 3 weeks around 15–20/11/2025 to Laos and then Cambodia (I’ve already done Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia… so the countries won’t change 😄). I’ve already got a rough itinerary in mind (the must-sees), including a land border crossing between the two countries after the 4000 Islands. I’m used to traveling light with a backpack, no stress, and I love walking/hiking. If anyone fancies joining me, feel free to reply! !

Some exciting plans coming up for 2026! What kind of advice are you looking for? Feedback on places visited? Sharing best practices? A driver/guide to recommend? There were two of us, setting off a bit on an adventure by booking our accommodations and transport on the spot, adjusting our itinerary based on the places we discovered. We got a SIM card at the airport (cheaper than apps for a month). We traveled by shared van for long distances and used the local Grab app for getting around...
