Which Cycladic islands to visit and hike for about two weeks?

Hi there, I’d like to visit several islands in the Cyclades in late June - early July 2026 for about 15 days. Stay 3 to 4 days on each one and do some hiking. Your suggestions are welcome—islands, accommodation, hikes, or anything else. Thanks in advance. Twizzle

For quiet islands, you can go to Sikinos, for example, but also Andros, Tinos, or Naxos, where there’ll be more people, though.

Make sure to pay close attention to the ferry connections between the islands—some are well-connected, while others are less so.

Also, don’t forget that it can get really hot at this time of year, so you’ll need to be well-prepared.

I went to the Cyclades this late spring (a bit earlier in the season than you) and we did some hiking (a little less than planned, though ). You can check out a photo story in my profile (or a few threads below in the "Greece" forum, "2 weeks in the Cyclades"—that might give you some ideas).

There are plenty of hikes on Naxos, fewer on Amorgos (the islands we visited), and they’re often well-marked (at least the main ones).

The hardest part for us was choosing the islands based on departure and arrival points, ferry connections, and being limited to 2-3 islands.

If it’s still time to make a suggestion for hiking in the Cyclades, I highly recommend the site of a seasoned Belgian traveler who compiled dozens of hikes and ranked them—work I personally find exceptional and have used a lot.

I’ve only hiked on Amorgos so far (in the Cyclades), and it was a really beautiful experience for me (but keep in mind it’s hot and the sun is strong). My favorite spot was the hike up to the monastery—when you get there, the people are super welcoming and warm. They even offered us loukoumi and rakomelo, though it was off-season. This guide was pretty useful as a starting point for planning the trip.

I’ve heard Sifnos has the best hiking trails, though I haven’t been there yet!
