What do you think about Air Caraïbes?

Hi there, I’d like to go to French Polynesia. I found round-trip flights for 650 € with Air Caraïbes. That seems really cheap—anyone here who can tell me about this airline if you’ve flown with them before? Thanks in advance for your help!

So, a round-trip flight for 650 € to Polynesia really catches the eye! That price seems almost too good to be true. Air Caraïbes doesn’t fly directly to Papeete (PPT). It stops in the Caribbean (Guadeloupe/Martinique). The deal you’ve seen most likely only covers the first leg (to the West Indies). If you’re leaving from Switzerland and include all connections (Zurich/Geneva/Paris/Los Angeles/Tahiti), a promotional price usually starts around 1100-1200 CHF/EUR at the very least. If the ticket does list PPT, go for it—but double-check the terms and conditions! Air Caraïbes is great for crossing the Atlantic, no worries there. Just make sure the IATA code is indeed PPT (Papeete, Tahiti) and not PTP or FDF.
