Hi, I was wondering if anyone has already had the experience of working abroad?
I don’t have a specific country in mind yet, so I’m open to hearing about your experiences on this topic—the pros and cons, etc.
Thanks! :)

Hi,
You’ll find plenty of firsthand experiences, tips, and ideas in the forum discussions. Just read through them and ask any follow-up questions if needed.
Happy reading!

Hey, it’s pretty straightforward: in Southeast Asian, Maghreb, and Latin American countries, the average salaries hover around 500 € per month, so that’s what you’ll earn each month 😎
So you’ll need to work *a lot* to get a decent salary.
That leaves the higher salary bracket countries—basically the US, Canada, and Australia.
As for the US, it’s *extremely* tough to get a work visa unless you have a PhD and work in R&D.
Same goes for Canada.
So, bottom line: if you don’t have a financial cushion to start a small local business, it’s gonna be tough.
And you haven’t mentioned your field of expertise.
Plus, if you’re getting paid in US dollars, it’s a currency that won’t be worth much in the coming years—other than having paper value 😎

How long would it be for?
Do you have a good level of English?
Are you good at teaching?
