Your recommendations for hikes and accommodations in Tenerife

Hi there, I’m heading to Tenerife for a week, from _ to February 14th. I’d love any tips for accommodations as well as hikes.

Maybe you’ll find some useful info in this travel journal?

I especially loved the Teide caldera and Anaga (though the weather can be pretty humid there...).

For accommodation, I was so glad I didn’t pick a place in the big resorts on the south/southwest coast.

I’d recommend staying in a few different spots.

There’s so much to do, and I agree with Attila—it’s best to get around (and not stay in the same place). Will you have a way to get around? There are a few blogs I’d suggest reading to get a better idea, mainly these (here, here, here, and here)
