Just got back from Egypt a few days ago and couldn't exchange my 1900 Egyptian pounds at the airport. If anyone's interested, let me know!
Egyptian books to swap

Hi everyone,
Three options: either swap them with someone else as you suggested, but they’d need to live nearby—shipping would cost almost 34 € right now.
Keep them for your next trip, or check if there’s a currency exchange office near you to see if they buy back EGP.
