Which Nile cruise should we take?
Pivoine47 · 2026-02-10
Hi there,
I’m looking for a cruise for two adults over 75 (with meals included, etc.) to visit Egypt—specifically the pyramids along the Nile and the Cairo museum. Looking forward to reading about other travelers’ experiences.
Thanks.

Hi Marie,
During my trip to Egypt, I found a great option on GetYourGuide. It combines the options you're looking for nicely. If it helps, I wrote a full trip review on my blog.
Feel free to ask me any more questions if you need!
Happy travels.
Which Nile cruise should we choose?

Hello Marie,
We’re 72 and 75 and just got back from a Nile cruise with a stop in Cairo to visit the new museum (gorgeous!) in October 2025, and we booked with CrosiEurope. We were really happy with the service and organization—everything was taken care of from Paris. (They offer an optional trip to Abu Simbel, but we skipped it since we’d already been there years ago.) Instead, we did the hot-air balloon ride, and it was absolutely magical!
It was such a wonderful trip!
Monique

Hi,
You mentioned you were picked up in Paris—does that mean someone from CroisiEurope accompanies the group from Paris?
Which airline operated the flights?
Thanks in advance for the info.

Hi Myriam,
We left from Orly Airport (we only found out a week before because the previous departures were from Roissy), but there was indeed a CroisiEurope rep there to welcome us (at 4:30 AM!) and give us our travel documents. On arrival, another rep was waiting for us. Everything went really smoothly. No stress at all!
