Affordable accommodation in Singapore

Hi everyone, I’m afraid this is a pretty standard question, but one I haven’t really found an answer to! I’m looking for accommodation in Singapore for two nights in mid-March. I know "reasonable price" can mean anything and nothing —I realize staying here isn’t cheap. But if anyone has a good recommendation, I’d love to hear it! I’ll be traveling mostly in backpacker mode, but I don’t want a youth hostel. That said, I’m fine with something a bit out of the way. Thanks in advance! 🙂

Hi, most of the budget hotels are concentrated on Bencoolen Street. Otherwise, have you checked on Booking?

Yeah, I checked on booking.com. Didn’t really find any hotels for under 100 € per night. I’ll keep searching! !

otherwise there are dorms or capsules 😉 But personally, I can't sleep in a capsule—I'm claustrophobic

If I’d had a private bathroom, I could’ve slept in a capsule. But the dorm? No way. Not the hostel 😉
