Local trekking agencies in Peru and Bolivia

We're planning to trek in Peru and Bolivia and would love to find some local agencies. If you know any, could you share details on prices and, of course, the names of the agencies? Which trek would you recommend? Elocine

Which trek do you recommend?

A trek in the Cordillera Blanca (Carhuaz) is a stunning region for treks: Huascarán National Park (kind of the Chamonix of Peru). I’ve only done day hikes there without an agency or guide (this was a while ago). My best memory: Laguna 513 and Laguna Cochca, starting from Shonquilpampa near Hualcán/Carhuaz—but there are plenty of multi-day treks to do. There are quite a few agencies in Carhuaz.

Dans presque toutes les villes où il y a des circuits de trek (huaraz, cusco, arequipa, la Paz, etc.) vous trouverez des agences locales avec des départs privatifs ou des départs en groupe pour les circuits les plus commerciaux.

Honnêtement ces agences vendent des circuits très commerciaux et fréquentés et la plupart sont opportunistes plus que passionnées de trek ou de montagne !

Pour des itinéraires plus qualitatifs je recommande d'anticiper et de passer par une agence francophone spécialisée, par exemple Panacca ou Yunka au Pérou ou Thaki en Bolivie.
