Daydreams in Corsica.

Hi everyone,

For those who can’t travel right now, I thought I’d offer a little escape—maybe!—through some images of Corsica (where I’ve lived for 48 years). This won’t be a structured travel journal or a step-by-step story, just a mishmash of landscapes and more... Through these photos, we’ll jump from one place to another, one season to the next, with no real order.

I debated adding details to each image but decided that for daydreaming, you don’t need much chatter—maybe just a place name.

These images were taken at different times and periods (of the year), and with different cameras. That explains the noticeable differences in colorimetry. 🤪

As we do every year at this time, we migrate for 2 or 3 days to the east coast of Corsica around the Solenzara Military Base to watch the training sessions of the "Ambassadors of our French Air and Space Force" (Those who will perform at various events and airshows across France in 2026).

A few kilometers to the north ... a drivable track leads to a beach, unfortunately covered with a thick layer of posidonia torn from the sea by winter storms! From there, a good half-hour walk through the maquis .... That day, we didn’t see a single person ....
