What to visit around Sousse?

Hello, In September, my wife and I, along with another couple, will be traveling to Tunisia and staying at the Sheherasade Hotel near Sousse. We’d love to hear your recommendations or tips on places to visit, as well as advice on taxis or other transportation options. Thanks in advance!

Hi there! Sousse is a really beautiful city. You can visit the medina, the ribat, the archaeological museum, and the marina at Port El Kantaoui. Don’t forget the beach and the Boujaafar corniche. Not far from Sousse, there’s the city of Monastir, and the marvel that is the El Jem amphitheater. HAPPY VISITING!

Bonjour, effectivement les visites déjà suggérées. La plage de Sousse est très belle, malheureusement les hôtels en ruines gâchent un peu le paysage... Monastir avec le métro léger pour voir le ribat mais surtout le mausolée Habib Bourguiba et le musée Bourguiba dans l'ancien palais présidentiel. En dehors d'el Jem, vous pouvez aussi, s'il ne fait pas trop chaud, prévoir une journée à Kairouan Basés à sousse, vous pourrez en train, aller vers Hammamet ou Tunis, mais dans ce cas prévoir une nuit sur place. De Sousse, avec le métro léger, vous pourrez faire une visite à Mahdia et son immense cimetière marin... Évitez le vendredi, jour du marché, c'est un peu le bazar. Très bon séjour en Tunisie.
