Organized tours in Northern India with limited kilometers, favoring 2-day stops

Hi, I’m looking for an organized tour in Northern India that goes through Agra (of course!) over about twenty days, prioritizing 2-day stops given the long distances or flights. So far, my search has led me to these tours: Intimate Rajasthan + Ganges Valley Intimate Rajasthan and Goa Confidential Rajasthan + Goa circuit The number of kilometers is still pretty overwhelming and a bit scary. Thanks for your feedback! bcricri14

Hello,

You can contact IndeXperience if you'd like. They're a local agency we know in India, more focused on slow travel where you take your time.

Hi Christine, What a wonderful trip you have ahead, but so many kilometers and so much time needed! What are you looking for: a ready-made tour that meets your expectations or creating your own itinerary? Independent travel, or with family or friends? What time of year? What’s your budget? Rajasthan is already huge—wouldn’t it be better to dedicate your entire trip to it and maybe plan a southern India tour for later? My experience: In 2020, we went to India (24 days) with plans to explore Rajasthan and then head south. A previous trip to Rajasthan, Varanasi, and Delhi in 1997 (16 days) quickly put me off because of the distances, the heat, and the bus rides. In the end, we decided to stay in Rajasthan and planned a southern India trip for the following year. We wanted a low-stress trip, so we opted for a car and driver, staying at least 2 nights in each stop. We booked all the hotel nights in advance. It was a relaxed, fatigue-free trip. Happy planning and safe travels! Michel
