GPS for rental cars in the United States

Hi there,

A friend is renting a car for an upcoming trip during the All Saints' holiday. Nowadays, all rental cars come with GPS, but do you know if you can use it without paying for the GPS rental? I have no idea since I always use my own!

If it’s not free, I’ll offer to lend them my GPS.
