Hi,

Can anyone tell me exactly if a passport "valid for the duration of the stay" is enough, or does it need to be valid for 6 months after the trip? I checked the embassy’s website, but that info is missing.

Thanks. For safety, I called the Korean embassy. Passport must be valid for the entire duration of the stay.

The embassy’s advice is good, but the airline really needs to see it the same way at boarding. Because that’s where it all happens—not when you arrive.
