looking for a travel companion for a trek

hi I just booked tickets for September–October 2026 (3 weeks) in Uzbekistan—a country I haven’t visited yet. I’d love to find someone to join me for a few days of hiking in the mountains, but without going through a tour operator or hiring a guide.
